JJ Royal Brasserie, Lotte Shopping Avenue

Everybody who pass in front of Lotte Shopping Avenue will always notices this cute and eye-catching restaurant. Located just near the main lobby, you will easily spots JJ Royal Brasserie. Since the first time this restaurant opened, i've been really curious about what's this restaurant have. I found their interior very unique. There are barbie-looks faces all over the place, their ceiling, chairs, tables, etc. And i might say they have all the complete areas. They have the indoor non smoking area, the bar, the semi outdoor smoking -  non smoking area, and the outdoor area. They also have a DJ playing at night.

On my previous visit with R, i tried their Pork Katsu Curry served with Steamed Long Grain Rice and Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger along with Peach & Lychee Twist and Peach Ice Tea. They came in a generous portion and also satisfying taste, delicious!

This time i came to try their desserts. I came with my friend, K. Since both of us were still stuffed with lunch, we decided to go for "tea-time". The place itself was not too packed when i arrived. But just after a few minutes while waiting for my order to be served, the place suddenly filled up quite fast since it was almost dinner time.


The Devlin (40k)

Chocolate layer cake with raspberry jam. Love the intensity of the chocolate and balanced with the sourness of the raspberry jam. I managed to eat the whole piece of cake by myself, meaning i love the cake that i won't share it with anybody. I'm not a fan of macaroon, but their macaroon is so lovely, not too sweet but just right to my liking. yumm..

Razzle Dazzle Cronut (35k)
 Flaky pastry doughnut with Raspberry cream and raspberry chunks.

English Breakfast (35k) and Mint & Fresh (35k)
Most restaurants use Twinnings, but here they use Ronnefeldt Tea. The English Breakfast was K's and the Mint & Fresh was mine. They came with cute silver teapots. Love the aroma and how the hint of mint tasted. I definitely fall in love at the first sip with this tea.

Overall, my two visits here are satisfying. Love the atmosphere, the kind service, and also the food.

It's me again!! Gatau lagi udah berapa dasawarsa kutinggalkan dunia blog ini. Union: Union made is well made they said

It was a Thursdate with my two dancing mates, S and N. Masing-masing berangkat dari kantor dan janjian ketemu di Union, Plaza Senayan. Tempat hangout super hype selama 2tahun terakhir ini. Dan emang dasar kalo gak macet namanya bukan Jakartam it took almost more than 30 minutes for N to get to Plaza Senayan from Ratu Plaza. I was the first to arrive from the three of us, and FYI i was on time, got there by exactly 6.30PM. And as always, Union was full almost every time i went there, so even i already made the reservation for 6.30PM, i still have to wait around 30 minutes to get my table. Selalu suka sama atmosphere disini. Sebelumnya kesini selalu sore sekitar jam 3an, tp yang kali ini dateng pas jam dinner (dimana kalau di Union, setiap jam lunch dan dinner diharuskan untuk reservasi terlebih dahulu) dan ternyata suasana malam bikin suasana di Union jadi tambah romantis. Bandung trip #day 3 - Fabrik Eatery & Bar

3rd day in Bandung, also our last day. Paginya memutuskan untuk cari sarapan di sekitar hotel barengan I dan Mr, dan kemudian I ngajakin makan kupat tahu di pinggir jalan, dekat alfamart sekitaran hotel. Gerobaknya sebelahan sama bubur ayam. I dan Mr ini asalnya dari Bogor dan mereka sudah biasa makan kupat tahu ini, sedangkan saya sendir have no idea about that kind of food. Yang saya tau ya ketoprak atau ketupat sayur. But then i'm willing to try this new dish. Setelah memesan, tampilan kupat tahu itu mirip ketoprak, cuma rasa bumbu kacangnya asin. Isi dari kupat tahu itu sendiri ketupat, tahu, tauge, disiram bumbu kacang dan diberi kerupuk. Sayangnya ternyata lidah saya kurang cocok dengan makanan ini. Kalau menurut Mr, kupat tahu ini lumayan, tp katanya ada yang lebih enak. Ya mungkin lain kali saya harus coba yang di tempat yang direkomendasi Mr. Tapi yang ini kurang enak kalau menurut saya.
