Cacaote, Senopati

Image
Well, who doesn't know this heaven for the sweet tooth?? People talk about this place since its opening, and yet still until now. The place itself is really easy to spot by its red-brick color wall and the big sign "CACAOTE" in front of its building. What i can tell you about the place is it's so glamor and elegant from the outside, with big glass door just like if you entered a castle. You can see through the glass door that there's a beautiful chandelier to welcome you inside.   They are two separated areas: the non smoking area at the 1st floor which is more casual along with the cake display, while the smoking area at the 2nd floor is more elegant and classic modern.   stairway to 2nd floor 2nd floor 2nd floor, Bar As you can see, the second floor area is so much elegant with the wooden floor, dark chairs and sofas. Aside from the desserts, they also have full meals menu. Since i was still full from lunch, m

Hyde Restaurant & Bar, Kemang

Image
Finally, i can managed a girls-foodie-day with one of my beloved best friend, A. It's been a while since the last time we did this. And i was so thrilled and excited about this. After some long conversations, we decided to go to Hyde, Kemang. It's been quite a hip place that most people talked about, especially for their unique dessert named Chocolate Soil. The place itself was quite easy to find, just around the corner near Lin's Artisan Ice Cream or near Die Stube. The first thing that caught my eyes was their exterior - interior; big windows ( i love big windows!), wood table, also the earthy dominant color. Entrance Garden - Outside Area Bar Since i got there when the sun was still at its finest, around 2PM, it was pretty warm inside although the AC was on. But the good thing is it was really bright inside, so i could get some pretty good pictures (yeaayy!)   We came here for lunch. We decided to skip the appetizer and straight to the mai

Everybody who pass in front of Lotte Shopping Avenue will always notices this cute and eye-catching restaurant. Located just near the main lobby, you will easily spots JJ Royal Brasserie. Since the first time this restaurant opened, i've been really curious about what's this restaurant have. I found their interior very unique. There are barbie-looks faces all over the place, their ceiling, chairs, tables, etc. And i might say they have all the complete areas. They have the indoor non smoking area, the bar, the semi outdoor smoking -  non smoking area, and the outdoor area. They also have a DJ playing at night. Bar On my previous visit with R, i tried their Pork Katsu Curry served with Steamed Long Grain Rice and Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger along with Peach & Lychee Twist and Peach Ice Tea. They came in a generous portion and also satisfying taste, delicious! Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger (85k) Pork Katsu Curry (75k) Peach & Lychee Twist (55k) and Peac

Garcon - Bistro & Bar, Plaza Senayan

Image
The french bistro, bar and patisserie located in Plaza Senayan, just under the cinema on the 4th floor. Garcon means "exploring the delights of youth". Been curios about this place for quite sometime, and then one fine afternoon i made it to went there with one of my friend, C, and my cousin, S.  Love the interior and the atmosphere. When we arrived, the place was almost packed. The area itself is separated to two areas, smoking and non smoking. There's also tables with high chairs near the bar. When you first enter the place, your eyes will be spoiled by the long cake display. They have various kinds of eclairs and cakes. And i was like "i want each one of them!!" :p The price itself is more to the high side. And since we had lunch before, we only order appetizer and cakes. It took quite a long time for us to choose one of the beautiful cakes. Geez. And finally i chose Rocher Monaco along with Ice Lemon Tea, while C was in love with the Angelin

Fulfill Your Belly at Tokyo Belly, Grand Indonesia

Image
It was a rainy day. Me and my friend, A, were craving for something hot and soupy. After wandering around Grand Indonesia, we decided to satisfy our belly at Tokyo Belly. Grand Indonesia outlet (grabbed from their twitter @TokyoBelly) Setiabudi One outlet (grabbed from their twitter @TokyoBelly) Tokyo Belly is a part of Ismaya Group. Before, it was named Mr. Curry. Went there a couple of times, and their curry dish was memorable. Tokyo Belly itself is a new style of Japanese bistro and sake bar. The menu varies from omurice, ramen, sushi rolls, curry, hot stone bibimbap, pasta, j-dog (Japanese hotdog) and many more. Since the weather was cold, i was craving for something hot, soupy, and spicy. My eyes spotted their Tempura Chige ramen. The soup was flaming red named spicy chige soup, combined with all those seafood tempura and seasonal vegetable tempura, and also lava egg. I love the spicy soup. This dish warmed the cold night. And to cool down the hot taste in my m

Kitchenette, Senayan City

Been so busy lately and almost losing my appetite to blog, here i'm back on board. I do have so many reviews to write and i hope you guys have the same excitement as i am to share my happiness by eating great food :) well, i should've post this one just right after my last post (Publico), but then i couldn't have the time to write. But yea better late than never right?? (alesan... :p ) Ismaya is expanding their restaurants branch all over the malls. This Kitchenette is their newest Kitchenette branch, after Plaza Indonesia, Central Park, and Bali Beach Walk. And this was my second visit here. The first visit was really a disappointment.  The service was really bad. Me and my friend had to wait for around 45minutes for our food to be served, and unluckily my friend's order was sold out, and they informed us after we waited for 45MINUTES! Ckck. Then i complained, and they decided to give me a voucher as their apology for the bad service. So then i came there to rede
